Abstract

This short research project is for improving the users’ experience of the trivago app. The focus of this research is to find issues and problems with the existing app and to bring up some design solutions by a user-centric-design approach. The core issue of this research is: there are so many similar hotel booking apps, how to attract people to download and use the trivago app? Thus, the most early experience of the app was to be considered.

 

There were some design methods conducted like the questionnaire and persona generating through interviews. The usability testing is a very crucial part of the to know their preferences for new designed interfaces in the ideating phrase. In prototype stage I created both lo-fi wireframes and hi-fi mockups with a few alternatives. Note: this is only a framework of how the process is going to be conducted, not a very finished project.
